This website, accessible at the URL www.mat.pd.it (hereinafter, the "Site"), is the exclusive property of M.A.T. s.r.l.
Use of the Site and browsing its pages constitutes full acceptance of these Terms of Use (the Site's contractual terms and conditions), as well as the Privacy Policy (https://www.mat.pd.it/privacy), the Cookie Policy (https://www.mat.pd.it/cookies), and any other notices, legal notices, information, or disclaimers published anywhere on the Site. All of these notices are legally binding on all visitors to the Site.

Any User who does not accept any of the Terms of Use set forth below is advised to immediately discontinue their visit to the Site.

The User agrees to use the Site and any data, information, and material available therein exclusively for lawful purposes, in accordance with these Terms of Use. Any liability arising from unlawful use of the content and/or violation of any law remains entirely his/her responsibility.

Use and navigation of the Site and the enjoyment of its contents, materials and/or services are free of charge, unless otherwise expressly indicated.

1. MODIFICATION AND DURATION OF THE TERMS OF USE OF THE SITE.

1.1. The content of these Terms of Use may be modified without notice at the discretion of M.A.T. s.r.l. Users are therefore required to review them regularly to stay informed of the applicable conditions.
1.2. These Terms of Use and any subsequent modifications, published on the Site, will remain in full force and effect for the entire duration of the User's use of the Site, its content, materials, and/or services.
1.3. Even after termination of use of the Site, the provisions of these Terms will remain in force and binding, as they are of a perpetual nature, regarding:
a. exclusion and limitation of liability of M.A.T. s.r.l.;
b. applicable law to the contract and its performance;
c. jurisdiction to hear any disputes.
1.4. For paid services, changes to service features/limitations and/or prices will be communicated to Users 30 days in advance via the Site. In this case, the User may cancel the paid service within 30 days of notification, without incurring any additional charges or costs. Failure to notify Users of cancellation will be deemed to have accepted the changes.

2. PURPOSE OF THE SITE.

2.1. The Site is for informational and illustrative purposes only. The information and materials contained therein are available free of charge, in accordance with these Terms of Use.
2.2. The content published on the Site is not, in any case, periodical and therefore does not constitute an "editorial product" pursuant to Law No. 62/2001.
2.3. Users – subject to authorization – are given the opportunity to interact with social networks through special widgets installed on the Site to share published information.  

3. INTERRUPTION AND SUSPENSION OF THE SITE.

3.1. M.A.T. s.r.l. reserves the right, at any time, to interrupt or suspend, temporarily or permanently, access to the site or to individual pages or content thereof.
3.2. The User acknowledges that, for such operations, M.A.T. s.r.l. cannot be held liable in any way to the user or to third parties.

4. CONTENTS AND COPYRIGHT.

4.1. The entire Site, including its component pages, ideas, logos, trademarks, graphic design, content, audio/video materials, and more generally any other creative work related to the Site and its services, are the property of M.A.T. s.r.l.
4.2. These materials may not be reproduced, used, or represented by Users, except in the cases and within the limits expressly recognized or in the cases and limits permitted by law.
4.3. The User is granted a non-transferable right to use the Site and/or its services, limited to private, non-commercial use.
4.4. Any comments posted by Users are subject to prior moderation. Any content posted by Users is licensed free of charge, irrevocable, and unconditional.
4.5. Users assume responsibility for any comments and information they may post, transmit, disseminate, or make accessible on the Site or through the services, and are solely liable for any damages incurred directly and/or indirectly by third parties. Users therefore agree to indemnify and hold M.A.T. s.r.l. harmless from any claims for damages from third parties arising from their conduct.
4.6. M.A.T. s.r.l. reserves the right not to publish comments that are offensive, violate applicable laws, or contain advertising or spam.
4.7. M.A.T. s.r.l. undertakes to remove, as quickly as possible, any content deemed unlawful, declared as such by a judicial authority.

5. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY.

5.1. The Site is provided "as is" and without any guarantee of functionality.
5.2. The User acknowledges and agrees that M.A.T. s.r.l. shall not be held liable for any delays, malfunctions in the performance of the Site, or damages, direct or indirect, incurred by the User or third parties resulting from events beyond its reasonable and material control, such as, by way of example and not limited to:
a. failure and/or malfunction of services provided by telecommunications operators and/or equipment and power lines, as well as telephone, computer, and/or cyber connections, not directly managed by M.A.T. s.r.l. or by persons for whom it is responsible;
b. malfunction of terminals or other communication systems used by the User;
c. actions of other users or other parties accessing the Internet;
d. other events resulting from unforeseeable circumstances and/or force majeure.
5.3. In the event of Site interruption, M.A.T. s.r.l. undertakes to restore functionality as quickly as possible.

6. THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES AND CONTENT.

6.1. The Site contains links to websites, content, and materials stored on third-party servers, which are not monitored or controlled in any way by M.A.T. s.r.l. Therefore, M.A.T. s.r.l. declines any responsibility for their content, accuracy, operation, legality, reliability, privacy policies, or other policies or information.
6.2. The mere possibility of directly accessing such sites, content, and materials from the Site does not, in itself, imply approval or sponsorship of them, and for this reason, M.A.T. s.r.l. declines all liability for any loss, damage, or cost incurred by the User or third parties. Furthermore, M.A.T. s.r.l. does not guarantee that such sites, content, and materials are constantly updated.
6.3. By choosing to access third-party websites, content, and materials, the User acknowledges and agrees that these Terms of Use, as well as the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and any other notices, legal notices, information, or disclaimers published anywhere on the Site, are no longer valid for such third-party websites, content, and materials.
6.4. M.A.T. s.r.l., in compliance with current legislation and established case law, permits the publication of links to the Site. However, it strictly prohibits the framing of its pages, i.e., the incorporation of a web page within another site, which would prevent the attribution of the content.
6.5. M.A.T. s.r.l. reserves the right to take any action to protect its rights and legitimate interests if it suffers any financial or non-financial damage due to the conduct of the User or third parties, including, but not limited to, damage to honor, reputation, or image.

7. APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION.

7.1. These Terms of Use and the relationship between M.A.T. s.r.l., owner of the Site, and its Users are subject to Italian law.
7.2. All disputes arising between M.A.T. s.r.l. and its Users, related or otherwise connected to the use of this Site (and its content, materials, and services) are subject to Italian jurisdiction, with the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Padua.

8. PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA ON THE SITE.

8.1. Users may access and browse the Site without revealing their identity or providing any personal data, except as provided in the Cookie Policy (https://www.mat.pd.it/cookies).

8.2. If the User wishes to receive information or contact M.A.T. s.r.l. through the specific contact form, he or she will be required to provide certain personal data by completing the form. Before providing personal data, the User is invited to read the Privacy Policy (https://www.mat.pd.it//privacy) and to provide consent through the same contact form.

8.3. The User is requested to refrain from communicating sensitive data (pursuant to Article 9 of EU Regulation 679/2016 on the protection of personal data) through the contact form or by email.
8.4. M.A.T. s.r.l. declares that the processing of the User's personal data, acquired in the context of browsing and using the Site's features, will take place and is carried out in full compliance with the obligations set forth in EU Regulation 679/2016 and according to the methods and purposes specifically specified in the Privacy Policy (https://www.mat.pd.it/privacy), which the User acknowledges and declares to have specifically read.
