EXFORO - PADUA
Restyling of the ExForo Terraces – Padua: A Dynamic and Functional Design for a Space that Lives with the City We had the pleasure of collaborating with the ExForo restaurant, located in the heart of Padua inside the historic Ex Foro Boario building, which overlooks Prato della Valle. The ExForo team presented us with an ambitious project for their three terraces: to transform them into versatile, elegant, and functional spaces capable of adapting to the diverse needs of the venue and its guests. The solution? Our custom-made planters in painted galvanized sheet metal with a "rust effect" finish. To meet these requirements, we created bespoke planters in galvanized sheet metal with a rust-effect painted finish, perfectly in tune with the industrial and contemporary aesthetic of the venue. The planters are equipped with hidden wheels, allowing them to be moved easily and enabling dynamic configurations: from more intimate and cozy settings to open and fluid spaces, depending on the moment’s needs. The project also includes the installation of two large cylinders with a diameter of 150 cm, positioned at the center of the terraces. Inside these containers, olive trees—symbols of peace and a connection to nature—have been planted, becoming the green focal point of the space. The result is a space that blends contemporary design with respect for history, where corten-style planters and olive trees create a harmonious contrast with the historic architecture of the building. An environment that invites people to experience the city in a new way—through elegance, functionality, and nature.
